Strawberry Fields
A playful ode to sun-drenched afternoons, Strawberry Fields combines the delicate fruitiness of Parson Grapy gin with the herbal depth of teranino and the bittersweet charm of strawberry-infused Pampelle. Balanced with bright citrus and a soft, velvety texture, this cocktail offers a layered experience - at once nostalgic, floral and refreshingly modern.
RECIPE:
Strawberry-Infused Pampelle (makes approx. 700 ml)
- 300 g fresh strawberries
- 700 ml Pampelle Grapefruit Aperitif
Combine in a vacuum-sealed bag and refrigerate for 2 hours. Strain through a fine mesh strainer, then again through a coffee filter or cheesecloth for clarity. Bottle and refrigerate.
Cocktail
- 30 ml Parson Grapy gin
- 20 ml Teranino liqueur
- 20 ml strawberry‑infused Pampelle
- 20 ml Lemon juice
- 10 ml Monin strawberry syrup
- 10 ml egg white
Add all ingredients to a shaker without ice and dry shake vigorously to emulsify the egg white. Add ice and shake again until well chilled. Double strain into a chilled coupette glass.
DECORATION:
Top with a delicate milk cracker and place three strawberry gel drops for a touch of whimsy and visual intrigue.
FLAVOURS:
Lush and layered, Strawberry Fields is a vivid stroll through a sunlit orchard. Bright strawberry leads the nose, softened by floral undertones and bittersweet citrus. On the palate, Grapy gin’s aromatic Jurka grapes mingle with the herbal warmth of teranino, balanced by the punchy sweetness of strawberry syrup and the smooth tang of lemon. The texture is luxuriously airy, thanks to the egg white - like a cloud suspended above the fields. The milk cracker adds a crisp counterpoint, while the gel drops intensify the strawberry story in each sip.
