Hot Cosy Gin

Some drinks are created for summer terraces. Others are made for slowing down, wrapping up, and letting winter do its thing. Hot Cosy Gin belongs firmly in the second category - a comforting serve designed to warm both hands and spirit.

Built around Parson Cosy gin, this hot serve brings together warm apple notes, gentle citrus and winter spice, creating a drink that feels familiar yet quietly sophisticated. It’s the kind of cocktail that invites long conversations and unhurried evenings.

Ingredients:

  • 50 ml Parson Cosy gin
  • 20 ml apple juice
  • 100 ml hot water
  • 1 bar spoon lemon juice
  • 15 ml winter spice syrup
  • 2 dashes Angostura bitters

PREPARATION:
Warm your mug first, then add the Parson Cosy gin, apple juice, lemon juice and winter spice syrup. Slowly top with hot water and stir gently to bring the flavours together. Finish with two dashes of Angostura bitters and garnish with a dried apple slice.

DECORATION:
Dry apple or cinnamon stick.

FLAVOURS:
Soft apple sweetness opens the sip, followed by warming spice and the comforting botanical depth of Cosy gin. Lemon juice adds just enough lift to keep things balanced, while Angostura bitters round everything out with gentle bitterness and spice. The result is rich, soothing and quietly complex - a true winter companion.
