Gin Slushie

Fresh as an oyster, this frozen cocktail will take your taste buds to another dimension. It is created to be enjoyed slowly, so don’t rush! Take your time to avoid brain freeze :) and let every bite unveil new, unexpected flavours.

 Ingredients

  • 150 ml Parson Classy gin
  • 300 ml water
  • 60 ml sugar cane syrup
  • 5 sprigs of fresh thyme
  • 10 g fresh ginger
  • 60 ml lemon juice
  • 4 mint leaves
  • 1 kg ice

DECORATION:

Orange caviar and dry seaweed

PREPARATION:
Put ice into a blender and blend until it is crushed and has a slushie-like consistency, then add all other ingredients into the blender. Blend the mixture until the ice and liquid are thoroughly combined and the texture is smooth. Transfer the blended slushie to the freezer for a short period of time to firm it up a bit more. Serve in a whiskey glass as a slushy, top with a spoonful of orange caviar and dry seaweed.

FLAVOURS:
Another proof that simple ingredients can result in a complex outcome. The typical junipery aroma of dry gin is perfectly combined with a touch of sugar and aromatic thyme, followed by the freshness of lemon. At the end comes the sweet saltiness of orange caviar that pops in your mouth and creates a whole new slushie experience.
